Perhaps the most frustrating thing about this program as far as I was concerned, was that most of it took place during the time our branch was closed for moving. Although summer is usually a slower time for us, with many of the patrons having left the area for the off-season, that was not true this year, since we had to move our entire facility to a new location. Today, in fact, was only our fifth day in service at the new building, and it's been a wild enough ride that there was very little time to work on the 23 Things. I know that many of my co-workers didn't take time to work on the project; the time was just not available.
That being the case, I definitely hope to take the time to go back and revisit some of the sites that I was only able to give a once-over-lightly to. I particularly want to spend more time with ZohoWriter, and with LibraryThing! I'd love to see the program run again -- perhaps with a longer period for each set of tasks.
I also think it would be helpful if the staff were not normally specifically prohibited from doing some of the things on work computers that were explored during this program. Those who don't have their own computers at home, or who only have dial-up access, may never again be able to access YouTube . . .
