I liked the Bull Run Library wiki as an example of what could be done for libraries through wikis. Useful content, links to other useful sites for readers and booklovers, and so on; what more could one ask for? Well, current content would be nice, the "upcoming" events they list were last month . . . I'm sure they'll take care of that soon!
I also liked the link to Library Elf; a service that makes it possible to have a RSS feed for your library card? Wow.
I think one of the best things that could be done with wikis in libraries would be book reviews. If anyone could add reviews of the books that they read to the catalog, we could have a much better idea of whether we'd like a particular book!
